Hiii, today I have a variety of media—and I think one of the first—non-media recommendations on RR. I wanted to point out the new banner I made for the e-mail version because I believe is much more on brand with me, I love it!
I’ve been obsessed lately with the color brown so that’s one not official rec: give brown a chance in your aesthetic decisions (design, wardrobe, even hair…), it may be a trend but I really f* with it. Well, let’s begin!
Wisin & Yandel, ROSALÍA - Besos Moja2 (2022)
It’s funny to think that when I was a KID I used to listen religiously to the original version of this song by Wisin & Yandel, I was a big fan of them in middle school. Now, being a new Rosalía follower, as soon as I saw she collaborated on a new version of Besos Mojados I didn’t expect for it to be bad at all, but I wasn’t thinking that I would become OBSESSED with it. I love this song, I have had it on repeat this past weeks and I don’t know when the obsession is going to stop, I’m still enjoying it a lot.
Rating: 10/10 not sorry.

Drink Masters (2022)
If you are into having reality competition shows on the background while eating your meal this is a good one! I could say that after watching at least 20 of them this year (I could actually make a whole RRs edition for it) I know what rules and systems of competition I like… This one is a fair one: there’s two challenges per episode, every contestant starts with the same challenge and the worst three or two get to do another challenge to save themselves from eliminatioooon.
Also I was getting a little bit bored of food shows, so one about drinks that involves the kitchen and the bar was the twist that I needed.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 14
Finally catched up with RuPaul’s Drag Race after a long binge. I think in an earlier RR I was on Season 7 and now I watched eeeeverything (ok only Drag Race and All-Stars, not really Untucked and all the specials). In this season I felt like everyone was suuuper talented (yet, not funny) but my favorite girls were Bosco and Angeria <3 Btw, I really enjoyed the Rusical in this season.

Hello Fresh !!!!!!!!!!!
This is my first ever non-media recommendation that I don’t know where else to promote it so I’ll do it here. Here’s the thing: I live with my partner and since I stay home most of the time I tend to cook dinner on the weekdays. Well there’s a point where cooking just gets boring when you don’t know what to do and you have like 5 go-to recipes.
On a random day, I got infuenced on youtube or another app to get into Hello Fresh, a suscription box (in selected countries) that gives you some recipes to follow with ALL of the ingredients and portions that you need to do it, and now I want it foreveeeer. My first box came this week and I can say that so far so good. It is fuuun to learn how to make these recipes and the best part is that the outcome is delicious.

The Crown Season 5 (2022) created by Peter Morgan
I don’t follow many news about royalty but with this show I feel like I get a very good dose of drama and history. That’s the formula that they use, they carefully select historic periods of time and condense them in a beautifully photographed and directed episode full of drama and suspense.
To be honest, I didn’t like the casting quite much, I was getting used to Olivia Coleman and never wanted her to stop being Queen Elizabeth II and besides from that, I felt like the only person that really resembled physically their character was Diana Spencer, the other ones maybe I saw the resemblance in movements and voices not really on the physique.
Anyways, I liked these stories A LOT, I loved getting to know about Mohamed Al-Fayed and the relationship that he began with the royal family.

Last but not least, if you’re trying to find a new platform to check while being on your phone I would totally suggest Substack. The platform and app is growing in many ways and the connections that you can get yo make are amazing. Reading thoughtful, fun or very entertaining pieces and having the chance to chat with them on very open and creative threads is a cool way to spend your time on the internet I must say.
