Hello! You caught me sick. Last friday me and my partner found out that there was c*vid in the houseee, so we have been resting from the awful symptoms this bitch has given us. Today I woke up better and with some energy to write about my favorite parts in a creative process: setting intentions and making them happen! So I’m excited to go on… But first I wanted to say hi to new subscribers, I’m so happy you found my space on substack, feel free to roam around and share some of the stuff that I write, recommend and create :) Thank you, thank you, thank you.
DO YOU BELIEVE IN *MAGIC*?
01
I remember when I downloaded TikTok for the first time. Somehow with a very fresh algorithm, I came across and got too deep into #witchtok that it became the main type of content I got for months. That’s where I learnt that there’s a difference between magic and magick with a K. Magic is what magicians do, the staged tricks; while magick is what witches do—and it’s not limited to—working with energy and metaphysical elements to alter the physical world and get one step closer to our true higher will.
This means that basically, at the most shallow level of magick, by setting goals and manifesting them, we are… making magic(k). Sounds cooler than filling excel sheets and tabulating your life.
When I started noticing how magic happened in my life, I realized that I am a manifester, it comes very easily to me and sometimes unconsciously. Anything I really desired and thought about the possibility of becoming true, came true, for example the past two years: I wanted to work in fashion, I enrolled in this online fashion school and got a job there; next thing, I wanted to move out of my hometown, months later I finally could financially and relocated to Mexico City; next thing, I wanted to be in a relationship, I met Anna; next thing, I moved to London unexpectedly and realized since I was a teenager I wanted to live abroad in Europe, that’s where I saw myself. And here I am. So yeah, this makes me believe in magic.
I also know this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t believe that I could do it and went for it. Many times in life manifestations appear, yet we have to grasp the opportunity and work through it.

I said this would be a guide, it’s coming. As an unofficial marketer (life paved me the way to doing this professionally for a while) setting goals and strategizing to achieve them in small steps called “tactics” is what I have been mastering professionally. I always remember, in a business administration class that I had in uni, I found it funny how the teacher would always be comparing a business to personal life and made business sound super inspirational, and now I’m finding myself in that position aaa. But bear with me, I’m gonna make it cute. {{this is purely based on what I do for myself}}
GUIDE FOR PERSONAL GOAL SETTING AND MANIFESTING
Dream big. Meditate to that dream. Search for some high frequency music in youtube, relax and close your eyes. Imagine yourself in a theatre, the lights go down and you start watching a movie about your life. How do you see your life happening? How do you dream to see yourself in 30 years from now? How do you dream to feel in 30 years from now? You can dream it all, don’t limit yourself, don’t judge yourself from dreaming. Write it down after.
Visualize your emotion in everything you do. When you are setting goals, say it’s for this week or this month or this year, think about how it will make you feel to achieve said goal, your “why you want it?” is your intention. When you set goals you are setting intentions, too, make sure the goal you are setting will make you feel good and at peace with yourself.
Set your goals, make them specific. What do you want? put a number on it. When do you want it? put a number on it. Why do you want it? put an intention on it.
Write everything down. Put your goals in a table or any layout that would serve you. I have Notion pages with my year goals (i don’t revisit them that much, I just keep them there so next year I can see if I manifested anything from that list); I also have my latest 3 month goals and this one I see them every week. Every week I come back and think about what I can do in 7 days to get one step closer to what I want to achieve.
Go for it. Then I go and make my silly to-do lists: Monday I focus my energy on planning and cleaning everything to make space for the week; Tuesday, on starting; Wednesday, on my emotions; Thursday, on creativity and physical activities; Friday, on the fun work; Saturday, on intentions and letting go; and Sunday, on resting. Note: this is my ideal ok? I don’t do it often, but I’ve noticed that that’s how I personally feel at my best.
Let it go, make space. Start doing your plan, keep the momentum going and let it be natural. You don’t always have to be looking at your goals for them to happen. Let them happen and make space for the unknown. Sometimes something better than what you wanted to happen comes. This definitely happens when you are all in. If you are making the things that you dream for yourself happen, you are already shifting your energy and that’s when magic comes and gives you what Yourself 30-years-from-now deserves.
Make it fun. You don’t need to believe all this “manifesting” thing but hey, it’s fun to believe it. If it doesn’t work for you in these words, make the process fun for yourself, pick other words, pick other methods, make it your own. Tick your to-do list and call it just that, “making it happen”. Make life happen.

Cute tools that work for me:
I’m trying this method I found on Youtube to achieve some cool things this last months of the year: I’m learning UX Design, being constant and more out there with my newsletter (instagram for Virgos don’t cry coming soon) and I need to get a secure job (jajaja en mi desquehacerada era), so I’m searching for one.
Also I love Notion, I have been using it since I started making this publication. I use it for everything I’m working on, planning on, whatever I write down in paper I come to Notion and make it cute. Great tool for organizing yourself in any way that you want and works for you.
I cannot do any of this without a planner, I used to buy physical ones and preferred them buuut now Google Calendar has my heart. I never thought I would use the calendar app on my phone but I use it for everything now. Easy to use, easy to look at it, easy to be reminded.
I want to know what you think about manifesting, what you do to organize yourself, if you have any cool methods, or COOL STORIES ABOUT MANIFESTINGGGGG, whatever you want to share <3
