I’m staying for another month in Mexicali, the place I was born, waiting to get my visa to come back to London, the place I was starting to call home. I was supposed to leave on May 8th, but since I’ve got no luck (or the universe is teaching me patience), I’m going to be here until June 3rd. And guess what? Mercury retrograde’s dates are from May 10, 2022 – June 2, 2022. It starts in Gemini and ends in Taurus.
What does that even mean?
I never know first-handed, I just google it so here’s my interpretation:
Eventhough every planet is having it’s own regultar trip around the sun, from our perspective on Earth we see as if a planet (in this case Mercury) is going backwards. And so, in astrology, we take that representation as an energy that’s going backwards, mainly in the realms that the planet rules. Mercury rules communication. So normally, there’s weird things happening with social media, messages in general, even relationships and past connections, and also technology in general.
And we’ve been through this. Lots of times, there’s always like 3 or 4 Mercury Rx in the year. So be prepared as you have been okay through the other times.

BREATHE
Connect with yourself. When you breathe consciously you are sending a message to your nervous system: I AM OKAY. I AM ALIVE. I AM PRESENT.

Take a break to calm down. Don’t put your frustrations on other people, transform them and put them somewhere else. Calm down, everything is going to be okay.
YOU’RE NOT THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH THIS
You are never having an original experience. Nah, I’m kidding, your experience is sacred but there’s always stories to relate, find them and don’t feel alone, you are not alone.
ASK OTHER PEOPLE, FIND COMMUNITY
Build trust with people, ask and conversate. As people like to talk about celebrity gossip and environmental and social justice, they also like to talk about feelings. Just ask and listen to their experience, you can learn something.
GO OUT, GET SUN AND AIR
It just feels good.

Let everything out, let emotions pass, let thoughts be thoughts, move and rearrange your energy. Music, sports, dance, find your way of letting it go.
KEEP MOVING
Start or keep being constant. If there’s resistance somewhere, that’s where you need to move. Create along the way.
SEND LOVE
Love is powerful. Send love even if you’re not feeling it for yourself, you have it in you. It’s always there. Send it, it will come back. Every time.
