Knits: When I’m thrifting I look for these materials in the composition & care label: no acrylics. Wool. Merino wool. Mohair. Cashmere. * I would love to know and research more about how brands source these materials.
In my collection I already have some APC and Folk knit jumpers and love the quality and basic design (I love gray and navy blue jumpers). I would love to add Everlane, Acne Studios and Sezane, their knit items are so soft and warm.APC Pull Walter _ Sézane Jersey Samuel _ Everlane The Classic Polo Mall brands: My “boho” side will always love Free People and my “preppy” side will always adoreeee visiting Sandro. I have some Sandro items I’ve found second-hand that I wear every now and then and my mom (she also loves FP) will always find the best Free People items for me at Marshall’s and flea markets. I want to be able to just buy them in store but I still find them a bit out of my clothes budget.
Y'see! Independent Brands: Maybe it’s a coincidence or maybe Spain does have some of the best fashion/conceptual creatives in actuality (think Ricardo Bofill, CANADA, Rosalía…). My favorite brands lately have been Paloma Wool and Susmie’s both based in Barcelona. I love how they experiment with their medium, both of them very playful for different audiences.

I think Chloé is the equivalent to high-end designed Free People and Prada is Prada, I would loooove to collect vintage 90s Prada, the epitome of minimalism. Simone Rocha has been a constant inspiration, I see her clothes as art, the shapes she uses are both flattering and thought-provoking.
Chloé _ Simone Rocha _ Prada Athelisure wear: I have a whole post dedicated to what I search for in this type of clothes. My goal is to wear only Adidas and Asics in red, navy blue and white.
Bags: Ever since my cousin gifted me a Coach wallet I’ve found this brand fascinating. When the leather/price comparison tiktoks started coming up I was so happy to learn that Coach is a very quality-price balanced brand. I also adore when vintage Coach repair videos come up! (makes me love this brand more)
Extra: I want to have a nice scent from BYREDO and maybe some of their eyeshadow palettes, so cuteeee. Also I love TEKLA fabrics (I once had a robe and towels from this brand and it was just a little extra luxury feeling for a silly little everyday activity like showering). And ever since I tried this concealer by YSL beauty, I have their makeup on my wishlist.
I want to collect things and keep myself faithful to brands I love, I’ve been wanting these brands after trying them and understanding their quality. I want these pieces to become a “me” thing. Some of them I cannot afford as a quick add to cart thing but I save up to have some of these things because I like the brands and I believe in them and that’s what I love most about consuming fashion items, selecting them carefully.
What are some brands or fashion items you would want to wear more?
